Connie, a fifth generation Texan, graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Marketing. Connie devoted the first decade of her professional career honing her sales, marketing, and negotiation skills as a District Manager for General Motors. After leaving the corporate world, Connie was naturally drawn into the real estate business by her parents who owned the highly successful residential brokerage firm, Barringtons of Horseshoe Bay, serving the Horseshoe Bay, TX community and surrounding Highland Lakes area for over 30 years.

Connie believes in the importance of giving back and is active as a leader and volunteer in her community. Currently, Connie serves on the executive board of the Carroll Education Foundation. She is also a sustainer in the Southlake Chapter of National Charity League, hosted the House of Shine - Peace Love Shine Fundraising Event for several years and is a proud Presenting Sponsor of the Teacher Fund for the Carroll Education Foundation.

Connie resides in Southlake with her husband John, where their two daughters graduated from Carroll Senior High School. Constance, a recent SMU grad, is a mechanical engineer in Dallas, while Caroline, a Clemson University graduate, is a nurse in the Cardiovascular ICU at Parkland Hospital.
